Dr. Ronald A. Washington received his Bachelor of Science degree from Northern Arizona University before going on to receive his medical degree in Podiatry from the University of San Francisco/California College of Podiatric Medicine, at San Francisco, California. He completed his Surgical Training at Fort Sill Military Base in Oklahoma, Internship at San Francisco General Hospital, Post Grad rotation in Dermatology at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California and Surgical Residency at San Francisco V.A. Hospital in conjunction with California College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Washington has practiced Podiatry in Smithtown for over 20 years. He has worked as a Respiratory Therapist in New York, Arizona, Florida, and California before and during his education in Podiatric Medicine. He is a Diplomat of the America's Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is on staff at St. Catherine of Sienna Hospital in Smithtown; Dr. Washington is also a Podiatric Consultant at Pilgrim Psychiatric Hospital, St. James Health Care, St. James Plaza, and Long Island State Veteran Home in Stony Brook.
